HR Advisor 

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per year (depending on experience).
  • Hybrid work options with regular field based travel to customer sites in Bracknell and Portsmouth.
  • Occasional travel to company Head Offices at Milton Keynes.

Are you a CIPD Level 5 HR professional looking for a hands-on generalist HR Advisor role?

In this HR Advisor role, you will be working as part of a busy HR EMEA team for an international business that provide digital learning and training solutions for over a million users. You will be supporting around 140 employees that are based on customer sites in Bracknell and Portsmouth and reporting to the company's UK HR Business Partner. You will be operating as the main contact person for all HR related topics and undertaking varied duties. These include:

  • Writing job descriptions, interviewing candidates, and supporting line managers with the end-to-end recruitment process. This may include
  • Coordinating onboarding and new starter staff inductions.
  • Supporting line managers with employee relations case management. Examples will include, sickness and flexible working requests, performance management and disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Coordinating annual appraisals, succession planning, and salary review requests. 
  • Management of holiday calculations and coordinating internal training requests

Are you a potential match for this role?

  • You must drive and have access to your own car because this role will include travel numerous sites in Bracknell and Portsmouth weekly. 
  • Ideally, you will hold a CIPD membership, have a broad understanding of HR, and have experience in a HR Advisor role.
  • We will consider candidates with strong HR Administrator experience, that are looking to step up into a HR Advisor position. 
  • Your skills must include strong people relations, multi-tasking & workload prioritising, numerical ability (for payroll / holiday queries), and strong business writing skills and an attention to detail with this. 
  • You are happy working on an initial 12-month fixed term contract before the role moves to permanent employment.
